About UsThe Night Cat is a live band venue.From big band, Afro Cuban, Afro beat and swing Jazz to the more contemporary Hip Hop, Reggae, Funk, Groove. With the largest dance floor in Fitzroy, the emphasis is on dancing and a good time vibe. Bands such as Los Cabrones, a 14 piece afro cuban band have been playing Sunday nights to a capacity crowd for the past ten years. Relax With Max, an 11 piece afro beat funk band have been playing Saturday nights with the crowd jam packed on the dance floor.
