The Night Cat, a much loved icon of Fitzroy has been entertaining crowds for over 15 years. From Hip Hop latin reggae to funk, salsa, swing or kitsch, there is always an interesting, fun live music scene entertaining those who love to DANCE!

The Night Cat is unique, a large open space in Fitzroy, distinctly decorated and beautifully lit by its originators in authentic Fitzroy style.

The Night Cat is the original, a much loved and appreciated institution.

The Night Cat is one of the only venues where the audience can experience a 360 degree view of the amazing bands that perform, having the stage set in the round, right in the middle of the venue.

A large dance floor caters to the majority of people who like to groove, but there is also plenty of lounge to just people watch.

Open Thursday to Sunday from 9pm with free entry this is definitely one of the best places to start the PARTY!!!!!!

THE NIGHT CAT CITY

Situated at 279 Flinders Lane Melbourne (between Swanston and Elizabeth St) amongst the cafes, bars and boutiques of unique Flinders Lane.

In the basement of the historic 1905 National Trust building, The Night Cat City will bring live music featuring some of Melbourne's funkiest dance bands to Flinders Lane. The venue has been stylishly revived with a new look and a state of the art sound system in conjunction with a 24hr bar licence on Friday and Saturday nights, ensuring a pleasurable live music experience that The Night Cat Fitzroy has enjoyed for over 15 years.
